Performance Advantages

BP-2 is a broad-spectrum UV absorber with strong absorption in both UV-A (320–400 nm) and UV-B (280–320 nm) regions. It functions via excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT), providing excellent photostability. It is used as a polymer stabilizer, organic intermediate, and in specialty cosmetic formulations (subject to regional regulations).
